Exactly! The endless repeat of “let’s pretend we don’t exist” just made me very “soft”. Then I totally fell in love with this band, hoho. And also “it’s not supposed to happen like that”, I sang along with them loudly many many times on my way to and back from school. They actually came to dartmouth once and i went to watch their live show. I was soooo happy that night, hoho.

Hey, you know what? This time, I loved the two songs you posted! The first one “Suffer or Fashion” is very danceable…I, especially, like “it’s not suppose to happen like that, not like that…”. And for the “Let’s pretend we don’t exist”, come on! This is Electro-pop, sooth and relaxing and I feel I could float w/ it. My conclusion is that their songs are very lyrical with “stream of consciousness writing” style. If we don’t expect anything while listening, we may come across something super nice.

回北大是很难，不过如果有认识老师在会好一点吧，可以回去投奔欧阳同学哈。
今年的h1b是比较变态，不过至少adv的还没咻的一下搞定。

北大讲师的日子好像还不如这边ta来的爽，压力挺大的。而且就像贝贝说的，回北大实在是太难太难了，我现在已经基本把自己定位在国内民办高校教师这个水平上。不搞学术的意思是不是找工作面试，然后参加h1b大抽奖？

虽然还没做好打算，但至少我确定不想学术了。。。一辈子ta，那就回北大当讲师好了，hoho

那已经很快很快了。不过快毕业也未必是什么好事，如果将来没做好打算的话。我曾经幻想过当一辈子ta，拿微薄的薪水干轻松的工作。

不是。。。一般这个proposal是在五年中的第三年进行，通过后就成了phd candidate，开始所谓的正式论文研究。不过这是一个和老板讨论毕业计划的好机会。我目前似乎是target四年半毕业。。。
