“You’ve helped us out before.”
“No. I gave you Jerr to see him eaten, not to see you fed.”
“Fine, and very well put.”
“Accelerated English, Mrs. Kasprzyk.”
“Tough teacher?”
“Tough but fair.”
但这部小制作的片子各方评价都不错,很多人都把它作为2006看过最好的片子,最终促使我决定去看的,是瞟到一个人的评价里说,“Tired of feeling that movies are all the same these days…..watch this movie.” Gum – to mess things up; e.g., “Bulls would only gum it.” Heel – to walk away from (, and show your heels to); e.g., “I’m not heeling you to hook you.”
I did what she said with the brick, I didn’t know it was bad, but the pin’s on it now for poor Frisco and they’re playing it all on me-” 而Brendan就根据点点线索在朋友Brian的帮助下深入敌人内部探查真相。 就像DFS评价里写的:“The humor is often derived from watching these half-formed adults take themselves so seriously. If Glittes were around this modern-day California town, he’d surely offer Brick’s over-zealous adolescent gumshoe some solid advide: Forget it Brendan, it’s high school.”
